Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Product Details

Released on 08-Nov-2011

Modern Warfare is back. On November 8th, the best-selling first-person action series of all-time returns with the epic sequel to the multiple Game of the Year award winner Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 3 opens at the end of Modern Warfare 2 with the US fighting Russian forces on the ground in America. Vladimir Makarov is back, and Captain John “Soap” MacTavish and Captain John Price are wounded and “on the run” with Russian informant Nikolai.

The trio is hiding out in a safehouse in Dharmasala, India, where they are attacked by Makarov’s men, where players will take on the role of Yuri, a loyalist who works for Nikolai. As the safehouse becomes compromised, the men flee in a helicopter.

After this, the game takes players into Manhattan where Russia is attacking with ships stationed in the Hudson River. To counter this, the US calls in Delta Force where players step into the role of Frost, a Delta Force operative Sandman’s command which is ordered to take a tower on top of the Stock Exchange building.

After this, you’ll fly over the city in a Blackhawk, gun down enemy choppers, and fly out to the Hudson where you must sink a Russian sub that is “cooredinating the attacks.”

7 Days to Die is a game in which the player must survive against zombies. Not exactly the most original idea in gaming. So why are we getting excited over this game by unknown developer 'The Fun Pimps Entertainment'? Watch this new game play trailer and you might see why:
[youtube ?v=IOglladanR4&w=560&h=315]
As shown in the trailer, a big focus in the game is on players defending against zombie hordes. This can be achieved by not only building a sturdy house, but also by planting traps, barricading, digging holes and, of course, shooting zombies in the face. The malleability offered by the Minecraft-like gameplay should make this one of the more creative offerings in the zombie genre.
Other features advertised on the game's website include:
A huge fully destroyable and buildable world
A “Dynamic Block Stability Physics System”, which means houses must be structurally sound
Craftable weapons, items and traps
Solo and coop modes
Survival aspects including hunting and a thirst and hunger system
Interestingly, the world is handmade by the developers, as opposed to the procedurally-generated worlds seen in games like Minecraft. The game also features RPG elements, with upgradeable skills and experience.
The game is currently available for preorder for $14.99, and goes into early alpha in July.
