Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Product Details

Released on 08-Nov-2011

Modern Warfare is back. On November 8th, the best-selling first-person action series of all-time returns with the epic sequel to the multiple Game of the Year award winner Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 3 opens at the end of Modern Warfare 2 with the US fighting Russian forces on the ground in America. Vladimir Makarov is back, and Captain John “Soap” MacTavish and Captain John Price are wounded and “on the run” with Russian informant Nikolai.

The trio is hiding out in a safehouse in Dharmasala, India, where they are attacked by Makarov’s men, where players will take on the role of Yuri, a loyalist who works for Nikolai. As the safehouse becomes compromised, the men flee in a helicopter.

After this, the game takes players into Manhattan where Russia is attacking with ships stationed in the Hudson River. To counter this, the US calls in Delta Force where players step into the role of Frost, a Delta Force operative Sandman’s command which is ordered to take a tower on top of the Stock Exchange building.

After this, you’ll fly over the city in a Blackhawk, gun down enemy choppers, and fly out to the Hudson where you must sink a Russian sub that is “cooredinating the attacks.”

Mediocre game with last-years graphics and gameplay. Not that bad but could be improved. But at this price, (or the Russian version which is even cheaper) you get good bang for your buck that cannot be beaten anywhere else.

Awesome game. The multiplayer is similar to mw2 with a few extras but private matches have loads of extra modes e.g juggernaut. Definitely worth it if you play with friends a lot

The website for an unannounced EA title called Dawngate launched this morning. Described as a MOBA, the game lists publisher EA and studio Waystone Games.
"Dawngate is a new MOBA, built from the ground up to look and feel familiar while offering a whole new way to experience MOBA gameplay," the site wrote. "Dawngate empowers you to forge the champions you love for the roles you want in a competitive arena, shaped by ever-evolving, community-driven content and story."
As spotted by gaming sleuth superannuation, the Dawngate website apparently launched ahead of schedule. Links to Twitch.tv, Twitter and YouTube all direct to private profiles which cannot be viewed.
Superannuation suggests that Dawngate might be what Visceral Games was suppose to be working on and that Waystone Games is actually Visceral's free-to-play subsidiary.
