On the heels of FIFA Soccer 09, the world’s top-selling soccer franchise, EA SPORTS™ FIFA Soccer 10 delivers a true soccer experience to the consumer with authentic club and league licenses as well as new tailored gameplay enhancements and innovations that combine to create the complete PC soccer simulation.

FIFA Soccer 10 PC is focused on delivering an improved core gameplay experience, and significant gameplay innovations, in addition to graphical enhancements.

In response to listening to feedback from our fans, various elements of gameplay have been enhanced to give a more responsive and fluid experience. These include an improved animation system for increased responsiveness, updated collision system with new intelligent avoidance, overhauled goalkeepers, new shooting system, new aerial heading battles and improved team mate support for more passing and crossing options. In addition, quick throw-ins, free kicks and corners have been added, as well as a new game speed and a Legendary game difficulty setting.

  • Individual Team Styles - New Team Styles will allow you to change your style of play based on your opposition to create a more dynamic experience while exploiting weaknesses in their game, and building on your own team’s strengths. There are 26 team styles such as Wingplay, Target Man, and Offside Trap.
  • Custom Team Styles - Offers 14 fully customisable options that create a new depth to the FIFA Soccer 10 tactical experience.
  • Pre-match Scouting Reports - Your coach will provide a pre-match report helping plan your attack against every opponent, highlighting their team style and key players to watch out for, giving you tactical advice on how to beat them.
  • More responsive gameplay - The animation system in FIFA Soccer 10 has been enhanced to allow for a more fluid experience, giving more control over your players than ever before.
  • Updated collision system - New collision avoidance system means that players are less likely to get in the way and collide with team mates
  • New shot system - Exponential shot system makes it harder to master those long distance shots, offering a more realistic system that ever before.
  • New aerial battles - Challenge and jostle for balls in the air
  • New and improved set-pieces - Quick throw-ins, free kicks and corners allow you to keep the tempo going.
  • New auto-evade slide tackles - Players will now look to automatically avoid tackles by jumping over slides
  • Improved teammates support - Team mates are now more intelligent, providing a greater level of support. Support runs are now more effective, and there are increased passing and crossing options as a result
  • Improved goalkeepers - Goalkeeper intelligence has been improved, so that keepers now make more authentic decisions, with improved variation in shot stopping and deflections. They also have better reflexes with the ability to make that all important last ditch save. They are quicker off their line in 1 on 1 situations, and take up better positions.
  • Gameplay graphical enhancements - As well as new lighting effects for stadiums and pitches, the game has been made more authentic with smaller ball size, untucked shirts on players, new goal posts and improved net animations.
  • Realistic Manager Mode - Overhauled AI Engine to ensure league tables and cup competition are more realistic and consider the quality of the team
  • Online refinements - The online experience has been refined and made more accessible. Disconnect issues and slow online frame rate have been addressed and fixed, and new features such as Friends Lists and Chat Notification have been added for a more complete online experience.
  • New Russian League - Increases the Portfolio of leagues available.
